Zoe Láska is the Office Manager at The Fort Wayne Ballroom Company. She has a BA in Computer Art and went on to pursue a graduate degree in Web Design in Washington, but found that her passion for dance made her want to invest herself in a new direction. She has been dancing for over a decade, spending a few years traveling up and down the West Coast to club style festivals and congresses that gave her the opportunity to study with many respected and decorated coaches and instructors in hopes of gaining a wide perspective. With this approach, she also went on to attain a Personal Trainer Certification, giving her a greater understanding of training the body for Dancesport, injury prevention, and basic nutrition.
Over the years she has attained and continued to work on higher levels of Certification in Ballroom and the Club Styles. Her favorite styles are International Latin and the Club Dances. She loves connecting with a person and being in the moment in social dance, preferring it over competition, but has from time to time enjoyed competing in Jack N’ Jills, placing 1st at The Crystal Ball in West Coast Swing. She loves working at The Fort Wayne Ballroom Company because of the opportunities it has given her to grow as a dancer, further understand the art of dance, and share that knowledge with others through quality education methods. She appreciates how a community of dancers and good instructors are all a part of improving each other’s skills and hopes to further her abilities to instruct.
